So far I’m liking this week. Last night it was the very secret Arctic Monkeys gig at Old Blue Last. I’m posting one (not that thrilling) pic for now. Check next weeks NME for more.

• Two bottles of Merlot pre-gig. £8
• Being on the list for Metric. £Free
• Taxis to the K West. £20
• Being told by someone from DiS we could order whatever drinks we liked. £Free (Except for the feeling of guilt when Sean went to pay the rather large tab.)
• Having James from Metric play us an acoustic version of ‘Live It Out’ in his hotel room. Priceless

In the theme of a recent post, over the last few day I have: taken photos in the studio with Kasabian, drunk with / watched Paddingtons the Cazals & Drew Shambles, taken Metric to the pub, taken photos of Metric live and had Sixteen by The Indelicates stuck on repeat in my head. Tomorrow I’m heading to Brighton for two days of the Great Escape.
