Baby Shambles At The Concorde 2 In Brighton
I made it to Brighton just in time for the start of the Baby Shambles gig, I’ve heard a lot of mixed opinions on the show, but for me, of all the times I’ve seen them Brighton was the first time I’ve really thought that they felt 100% like a proper band. After the first three songs I was left thinking that no matter what happens with The Libertines it doesn’t really matter because there are so many great Baby Shambles tracks and everything really is seeming to fall into place. After the gig I missed the train, which I guessed I would because trains from Brighton to London stop running ridiculously early. I wandered back to the venue and went up stairs to find Pete playing acoustic songs to the gathered crowd, there was a really good atmosphere in the room and after everyone left I managed to get a lift back to London (thank you so much Abi!). Oh and BTW when I raised my hand I was professing my Love of Morrissey
